This example presents a bare-bones D3.js starter template that renders a large, centered title using raw HTML styling. The visualization itself is minimal, with no data or graphical elements displayed beyond the text block, which is scaled to an extreme font size. The page loads D3 version 7.0.4 from a CDN and references a local `bundle.js`, while a linked CSV file (`stages.csv`) suggests an intended dataset for a moving bubble chart, though no rendering logic is visible in the provided code. The implementation relies solely on standard HTML and CSS within the `index.html` body, with no D3 API calls demonstrated.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example demonstrates the basic setup for a D3 visualization using version 7, with the body text styled at an extremely large font size. The page loads D3 from a CDN and includes a separate bundle.js script, showing the standard pattern of separating library imports from custom code. The visualization itself appears as a blank canvas with the word "Fork" rendered at 13em, serving as a template for users to build upon. The code relies on D3's core library, loaded via the unpkg CDN, with no additional data sources or specific D3 APIs invoked in the visible markup.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example is a minimal starter template for D3 version 7.8.5, demonstrating the basic setup of an HTML page with a large centered text element and a linked JavaScript file. It uses the D3 library loaded from a CDN and an external `bundle.js` script, which imports a `select` function from D3. The visualization itself does not render any data or dynamic graphics, serving only as a foundational scaffold for building D3-based projects.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example serves as a minimal starter template for D3 version 6, displaying only a static, centered text message. The page loads the D3 library from a CDN and applies a large font size via inline CSS. The JavaScript file `index.js` is executed through a bundled script, though no explicit data transformations or visualizations are defined. The rendering approach is a plain HTML body with no SVG or canvas elements, relying solely on the browser’s default text layout. The code uses the `d3.v6` namespace but does not invoke any specific D3 functions or APIs.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example is a minimal D3 version 6 starter template. It demonstrates the simplest possible setup for a D3 project, rendering a blank page with large, centered text. The code uses the `d3` library loaded from a CDN, specifically calling `select` from `d3` in the `index.js` file, though no data or visual elements are actively drawn. The `index.html` file sets up the HTML structure and imports the D3 library, while the JavaScript file is a placeholder for future visualization code.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example displays a minimal single-page visualization that prints the text “Hello D3 version 7” in the center of the browser window using an oversized 13em font. It is a basic starter template demonstrating the setup of a D3 project with version 7.8.5 loaded via a CDN. The code uses the `select` method from the D3 library to target the `body` element and sets its text content, without any data or interactive features. The rendering relies purely on static HTML and CSS styling, with the JavaScript logic placed in a separate `index.js` file bundled as `bundle.js`.

A simple D3 starter example displays the text "visualization assignment" centered on the page at a very large font size. The page loads D3 v7 from a CDN and uses the `select` API on the body element to set its text content. The data source is a local `datasets.csv` file, though the visualization does not currently read or render any data from it, serving purely as a minimal template for learning D3 fundamentals.

A blank SVG canvas is set up with a 1-pixel border, and the page includes a large "Fork of D3 Starter" title in 13em text. The visualization itself currently contains no graphical marks or data-driven elements; it only establishes the basic structure for a D3 v6 project. The HTML loads the D3 library via a CDN link and references an external `bundle.js` script, while the accompanying `index.js` imports the `select` function from D3, though no selection or drawing operations are performed in the included code.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example demonstrates a minimal starting point for a D3 visualization: a nearly blank page with the word "body" rendered in enormous, centered text. The page loads D3 version 7.0.4 from the unpkg CDN and immediately executes a separate script, `bundle.js`, which contains the visualization logic. The HTML sets up the document structure and basic styling, while the JavaScript file is responsible for any future graphical content. The example serves as a template for building more complex D3 projects, showing the initial setup of an HTML file, external script inclusion, and a body that currently contains only static text.
