Fork of Fork of D3 Starter

This example presents a bare-bones D3.js starter template that renders a large, centered title using raw HTML styling. The visualization itself is minimal, with no data or graphical elements displayed beyond the text block, which is scaled to an extreme font size. The page loads D3 version 7.0.4 from a CDN and references a local `bundle.js`, while a linked CSV file (`stages.csv`) suggests an intended dataset for a moving bubble chart, though no rendering logic is visible in the provided code. The implementation relies solely on standard HTML and CSS within the `index.html` body, with no D3 API calls demonstrated.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example shows a minimal "Hello World" output using D3 version 7, rendering the text "Hello D3 version 7" centered on a plain white page. The code imports the `select` function from the D3 library and uses it to target the `body` element, then calls `.text()` to set its content. The page loads D3 from a CDN and relies on a separate `bundle.js` file for the JavaScript logic. The visual result is intentionally simple, demonstrating the basic setup and text-rendering capability of the framework.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example demonstrates the basic setup for a D3 visualization using version 7, with the body text styled at an extremely large font size. The page loads D3 from a CDN and includes a separate bundle.js script, showing the standard pattern of separating library imports from custom code. The visualization itself appears as a blank canvas with the word "Fork" rendered at 13em, serving as a template for users to build upon. The code relies on D3's core library, loaded via the unpkg CDN, with no additional data sources or specific D3 APIs invoked in the visible markup.

Fork of Hello VizHub

This example demonstrates VizHub’s capability to load D3 via UNPKG and use ES6 modules. It renders the text “Hello VizHub!” centered in a large font. The code imports the `select` function from D3 and a local `message` module, then uses `select('#message').text(message)` to set the content of the HTML element. Styling is applied via an external CSS file.

Fork of Fork of D3 Starter

A minimal D3 starter demonstrates how to render a static text message directly into the page body. Using only the `select` method from D3, the code sets the body’s text content to “Hello D3 version 7,” with the page styled at a very large font size via CSS. The example relies on D3 v7 loaded from unpkg and a separate bundle file, showing the simplest possible setup for a D3 project.
