This interactive visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized first by continent and then by subregion. The layout flows horizontally, with larger text for parent nodes and smaller text for child nodes, connected by curved green links. Built with D3 v5, the visualization uses the `d3.tree` layout and `d3.linkHorizontal` path generators to structure the data, while `d3.zoom` enables panning and zooming of the SVG canvas. Text styling supports a serif font with a white shadow for readability.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. It uses a D3 tree layout with horizontal links to show the parent-child relationships between geographic groupings, from "World" down to individual nations. The text labels are sized according to depth, with shallower nodes appearing larger. The implementation uses D3 v5’s `tree`, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` functions to compute the layout and link paths, while a zoom behavior allows panning and scaling of the SVG rendering.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This interactive visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries organized by continent and subregion, with each leaf node labeled by country name. The layout uses a horizontally-oriented tree structure where nodes are positioned based on depth and rendered as text elements with varying font sizes. Built with D3 v5, the visualization employs `d3.tree()` for layout computation, `d3.hierarchy()` for data structuring, and `d3.linkHorizontal()` for generating curved link paths between nodes. The SVG rendering includes zoom functionality via `d3.zoom()`, with data loaded from a JSON file containing the hierarchical country classification.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as an interactive tree diagram. It uses D3 v5’s `tree` layout, `linkHorizontal` generator, and `zoom` behavior on an SVG canvas, with nodes labeled by country names. The data is loaded from a JSON file, and the static layout supports pan and zoom via D3’s zoom event. Text size decreases with node depth to emphasize hierarchy.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization presents a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with each country labeled as a leaf node. The tree layout positions nodes horizontally, with links drawn as curved paths and text labels scaled by depth. Built with D3 v5, it uses `d3.tree`, `d3.hierarchy`, and `d3.linkHorizontal` to compute and render the layout, while a zoom behavior enables panning and scaling of the SVG canvas. The data is loaded from a JSON file, and the styling uses a serif font with orange link strokes.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with country names displayed at varying font sizes based on their depth in the tree. It uses D3 v5 with the `d3.tree` layout and `d3.hierarchy` to compute the node positions, while `d3.linkHorizontal` generates the curved connecting paths. The SVG rendering supports zooming and panning through D3's `d3.zoom` behavior, and the data comes from a local `data.json` file containing the nested geographic structure.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries organized by continent and subregion, with each leaf node representing a country rendered as text. Using the D3 v5 tree layout, the code converts nested JSON data into a horizontal dendrogram, connecting parent-child relationships with curved paths generated by `linkHorizontal`. Text nodes are positioned via `d3.hierarchy` and styled with font sizes decreasing by depth. The SVG output supports pan and zoom through D3’s `zoom` behavior, while labels include white text-shadows for readability against the teal link strokes.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, displayed as a horizontal tree layout. The D3 v5 code loads hierarchical JSON data and renders it as an SVG using d3.tree, d3.hierarchy, and d3.linkHorizontal for the curved links. Text labels show country names with font sizes scaled by depth, while d3.zoom enables panning and zooming on the interactive graphic.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree layout. It uses d3.tree and d3.hierarchy to compute the layout, and d3.linkHorizontal to draw the connecting paths. Node labels are positioned along the tree, with font size scaling by depth, and a d3.zoom behavior allows panning and zooming the SVG view. The rendering uses SVG elements styled with a green stroke and a Playfair Display font, with data loaded from a local JSON file.
