This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, using a D3 tree layout rendered as an SVG. The code applies `d3.tree`, `d3.hierarchy`, and `d3.linkHorizontal` to position nodes and draw curved links, with zoom support via `d3.zoom`. Country names appear as text labels sized by depth, and the data comes from a JSON file reflecting geographic classifications.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and region, rendered as a horizontal tree layout. The D3.js code uses `d3.tree`, `d3.hierarchy`, and `d3.linkHorizontal` to compute node positions and draw curved links from the hierarchical JSON data. Each country name appears as SVG text with font size decreasing by depth, while pan and zoom are enabled through `d3.zoom` on the entire SVG group.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout rendered as SVG. The code uses D3 v5's `tree` layout and `linkHorizontal` path generator to position nodes and draw connecting links, with country names displayed as text labels sized by depth. Data comes from a JSON file containing a nested structure of world regions and countries, while zooming is implemented via D3's `zoom` behavior.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout rendered as SVG. The code employs D3 v5’s `tree`, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` to compute positions and draw curved links, with each node labeled by its region or country name. Users can pan and zoom via `d3.zoom`, with font sizes scaling by node depth. Data comes from a static `data.json` file, and text styling uses the Playfair Display font with white shadows for legibility.

World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a tree layout in SVG. The root node is "World," with branches for each continent and further subdivisions down to individual countries. The code uses D3 v5’s `tree`, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` to compute the layout and draw curved links, with zooming enabled via `d3.zoom`. Text labels are positioned per node, with font size decreasing by depth, and the data is loaded from `data.json` using `d3.json`.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout rendered as SVG. The code employs D3 v5's `tree()` and `hierarchy()` functions to compute node positions and draws curved links with `linkHorizontal()`. Static labels are placed at each node, and the data comes from a local `data.json` file containing the nested geographic classification.

World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion using a tree layout. It displays all countries as text labels connected by curved links, with font size decreasing at deeper levels to indicate hierarchy. The implementation uses D3 v5 with `d3.tree`, `d3.hierarchy`, and `d3.linkHorizontal` to compute and draw the layout in SVG. Pan and zoom are enabled via `d3.zoom`, and the data comes from a local `data.json` file containing nested geographic groupings.

World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion. It renders a horizontal tree layout using D3’s `tree()` and `hierarchy()` functions, with countries positioned as leaf nodes. Links are drawn as curved paths via `linkHorizontal()`, while node labels use varying font sizes based on depth. The entire visualization is placed inside a zoomable group, allowing users to pan and scale through the `d3.zoom()` API. Data comes from a local `data.json` file, and the SVG output is styled with custom CSS, including a serif font and green link strokes.
