This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as an interactive tree diagram. It uses D3 v5’s `tree` layout, `linkHorizontal` generator, and `zoom` behavior on an SVG canvas, with nodes labeled by country names. The data is loaded from a JSON file, and the static layout supports pan and zoom via D3’s zoom event. Text size decreases with node depth to emphasize hierarchy.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization presents the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, rendered as a horizontal tree layout. The geographic data is loaded from a local JSON file and displayed using SVG elements. Built with D3 v5, the code applies `tree()` layout, `linkHorizontal()` for curved edges, and `zoom()` for panning and scaling. Text labels use a Playfair Display font, with font size decreasing by depth level to emphasize hierarchy.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. Using d3.json to load hierarchical data, it applies the d3.tree layout to calculate node positions and renders the structure as an SVG with linkHorizontal paths for connections and text labels for each country. The tree supports zooming and panning through d3.zoom, with text size varying by depth to emphasize hierarchy levels.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, displayed as a horizontal tree layout. The D3 v5 code loads hierarchical JSON data and renders it as an SVG using d3.tree, d3.hierarchy, and d3.linkHorizontal for the curved links. Text labels show country names with font sizes scaled by depth, while d3.zoom enables panning and zooming on the interactive graphic.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. The tree branches from a central root, showing the geographic groupings. The visualization uses the D3.js library with a vertical link layout to connect nodes. The SVG rendering applies a zooming feature and custom styling, with text labels sized based on the tree depth. The data is loaded from a JSON file and rendered using D3's hierarchy and tree layout functions.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This interactive visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries organized by continent and subregion, with each leaf node labeled by country name. The layout uses a horizontally-oriented tree structure where nodes are positioned based on depth and rendered as text elements with varying font sizes. Built with D3 v5, the visualization employs `d3.tree()` for layout computation, `d3.hierarchy()` for data structuring, and `d3.linkHorizontal()` for generating curved link paths between nodes. The SVG rendering includes zoom functionality via `d3.zoom()`, with data loaded from a JSON file containing the hierarchical country classification.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized from continents down to subregions and individual nations, using a horizontal dendrogram layout. Labels appear at each node, with font size decreasing by depth to emphasize higher-level groupings. The implementation uses D3 v5’s `d3.hierarchy`, `d3.tree`, and `d3.linkHorizontal` to compute the layout and draw SVG paths, while `d3.zoom` enables panning and zooming. Styling relies on a Playfair Display font and teal connection lines, with data loaded from a local JSON file.

Fork of Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization presents a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a branching layout that expands from left to right. The data is loaded from a JSON file, and the tree structure is rendered as SVG paths and text labels. The code uses D3 v5’s `tree()` layout, `hierarchy()`, and `linkHorizontal()` to compute the layout and draw the connecting links. Users can pan and zoom the entire diagram via the `zoom()` behavior, with text sizing decreasing at deeper levels to fit the hierarchy.

Fork of World Countries Trees

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion using a tree layout. The data is loaded from a JSON file and rendered as an SVG with horizontal links connecting parent and child nodes. Using D3 v5’s `tree`, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` functions, the code positions labels with font sizes decreasing by depth and includes zoom functionality via `d3.zoom`. Country names are styled with a Playfair Display serif font, and the visualization fills the entire browser window.
