AI credits are a usage-based allowance for AI-powered edits to your visualizations. Each edit request (Leaf 🍃, Shoot 🌱, or Bud 🌸 tier) consumes a different number of credits depending on the model quality and complexity of your request. Free tier users get 1,000 credits/month, Pro users get 10,000 credits/month, and Design Partners get unlimited fair-use access.
It depends on the tier you choose for each edit. A quick, high-quality edit (Bud tier) typically costs ~50 credits. With the Free plan (1,000 credits/month), you can make approximately ~20 Bud-tier edits per month. Pro users (10,000 credits/month) can make approximately ~200 edits per month. Design Partners and larger teams should reach out to discuss your specific usage patterns.
Free and Pro tiers will notify you when you approach your monthly limit. If you exhaust your credits before the end of the month, you can pause AI edits until the next billing cycle or upgrade to a higher tier for additional capacity. Design Partners and enterprise customers can request custom limits.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the end of your billing cycle. When you upgrade or downgrade, your credit allowance adjusts accordingly on your next billing date.
Pro is software. You use VizHub independently.
Founding Design Partner is a working relationship. We work directly with your team to apply VizHub to a real visualization workflow, help configure your AI/agent setup, learn from the engagement, and evolve the platform with you.
VizHub also provides custom data visualization engineering and implementation services. Consulting is scoped separately from the Design Partner program.
