This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, with each country name displayed as a text label. The tree layout positions nodes at varying depths, with larger font sizes for higher-level regions. The visualization uses D3 v5’s `tree` layout and `linkHorizontal` path generator to draw curved links from a JSON data source, and implements zooming via D3’s `zoom` behavior. SVG text elements render the labels, with a Playfair Display font and a white text shadow for readability.
