This example shows a simple SVG canvas with a single black rectangle placed at the top-left corner of a 960 by 500 pixel drawing area. The code creates the SVG element and the rectangle programmatically using the DOM API and SVG namespace methods. It uses native JavaScript DOM manipulation with `document.createElementNS` and `setAttribute` calls, and appends elements to the document body. No external libraries or data sources are involved; it demonstrates the minimum setup for drawing shapes with pure JavaScript.

Sol LeVitt

A red circle with horizontal white stripes and vertical white stripes creates a grid-like pattern, demonstrating a minimalist geometric composition. The artwork uses inline SVG elements within an HTML page, including a circle filled with red and rectangles filled with white to form the stripes. The SVG canvas is fixed at 400 by 400 pixels, with the circle positioned accordingly. This example showcases how basic SVG shapes can be combined to recreate the visual style of Sol LeWitt's wall drawings, using only HTML and CSS with no JavaScript.

Pseudo Visualizations

Three identical blue-and-white swirl icons are arranged in a vertical column, each rendered as a set of curved SVG paths with a shared CSS style. The icons resemble a stylized recycling or motion symbol, with each path stroke outlined in white on a transparent background. The page uses plain HTML and inline SVG, with no JavaScript or React framework logic present despite the metadata listing. The drawing relies entirely on hardcoded path coordinates and CSS classes for styling.

SVG Fundamentals

This example demonstrates fundamental SVG shapes—three circles and a rectangle—arranged on a canvas to show basic positioning, sizing, and styling. The circles use different fill colors, while the rectangle combines a pink fill, navy stroke, and a stroke width of two pixels. The code defines the SVG element directly in HTML with inline CSS setting the width to 800 pixels and height to 500 pixels. No external libraries like D3 are used; instead, it relies purely on native SVG markup and CSS properties.
