This example presents a curated configuration file for the Visual Studio Code editor, detailing personal settings for a clean and focused user interface. The JSON file silences interface elements like the activity bar and status bar without hiding the source, and pairs the Night Owl Light theme with the Dank Mono font and generous line height. It also defines language-specific formatting and linting rules using Prettier and ESLint, organizing everything into logical comments for easy navigation.

Ideas on how to add addon's definition to blueprint

This example compares three YAML drafts for defining Blueprint addons, showing how Nova-specific field configurations can be integrated into model schemas. It contrasts separate `addons` and `nova` sections with inline field attributes, using a plain-text rendering to highlight syntax variations. The code demonstrates YAML parsing and formatting, with each draft mapping `Post` and `Comment` models to user and post IDs while marking relationships as searchable. The visualization relies on standard YAML syntax to expose structural differences without external libraries.

This example demonstrates a testing helper for Laravel Nova that disables exception handling during feature tests. It defines a method `withoutNovaExceptionHandling` which accepts an array of exceptions to exclude, and uses Laravel’s `Nova::serving` event to trigger `withoutExceptionHandling` from the base test case whenever Nova is booting. The code relies on Laravel’s event system and PHP type declarations, showing integration between Nova’s life-cycle hooks and the framework’s testing utilities.

Using the equivalent of php trait

This example demonstrates how to apply PHP-like traits to JavaScript objects using a custom `addMixin` function. It shows a flexible method for copying property descriptors from multiple source objects onto a target object, enabling code reuse without traditional inheritance. The function leverages `Object.keys`, `Object.getOwnPropertyDescriptor`, and `Object.defineProperties` to transfer both regular and enumerable symbol-based properties. The implementation is adapted from Caleb Porzio’s approach, and the mixin.js file contains the complete logic for this composition pattern.

Solutions Commits

A Vue-based visualization of a Laravel learning course's git commit history, showing the progression of tasks across four main milestones. The graph displays commit nodes connected by chronological links, with each task's sub-commits branching from their parent task commit. The data comes from a markdown file listing commit SHAs and task groupings. The visualization uses Vue's reactive data binding and SVG rendering to plot nodes and edges, with commit hashes linking to their corresponding GitHub pages. Colors and spacing differentiate task groups, while the overall layout follows the sequential order of commits.

Accessor can't be accessed through HasMany Relationship

This example demonstrates a bug in Laravel's Eloquent ORM where accessors defined on a model cannot be accessed through a HasMany or BelongsTo relationship. The code shows a `Project` model with a `getFooAttribute()` accessor and a `User` model with a `getBarAttribute()` accessor. While direct access like `Project::first()->foo` correctly returns 'Bar', accessing the same accessor through a relationship chain like `Project::first()->users->first()->bar` returns `null`. The issue is reproduced using Laravel's Eloquent model relationships and accessor methods.

This example shows a PHP class that customizes Spark's contact-information update interaction. The code uses Laravel's Validator to validate incoming data, enforcing required name and email fields, an email format, and email uniqueness. It overrides the `handle` method to persist the user's name, email, and phone via `forceFill`, then fires the `ContactInformationUpdated` event, extending the base `SparkUpdateContactInformation` class from the Laravel Spark package.

This example shows a PHP service provider that customizes Spark’s default user-contact update flow by swapping out the handler. The code uses the `Spark::swap` method to replace `UpdateContactInformatio@handle` with a closure that calls `$user->forceFill` and `save()` on the model, then fires a `ContactInformationUpdated` event and returns the user. It demonstrates dependency-injection-based method replacement in a Laravel Spark booted lifecycle, with no rendering or charting libraries involved; the visuals are purely code-driven from the gist’s raw PHP.

This example shows a PHP class that updates a user’s contact information, assigning name and email fields via `forceFill` and then persisting the changes with `save()`. It fires a `ContactInformationUpdated` event after the update, and returns the modified user object. The code relies on Laravel’s Eloquent model methods—`forceFill`, `save`, and the `event` helper—along with the custom `Contract` interface, though the interface’s detail is not shown. The rendering is purely backend logic, with no visualization layer present.

This example shows a controller method for updating a user’s contact information settings in a PHP application. It uses Laravel’s `Controller` base class and invokes an `interaction` helper method with the `UpdateContactInformation` action class, passing the current user and request data as parameters. The code illustrates a typical action-oriented pattern where a request is delegated to a dedicated class for processing, but it does not include any data visualization, charting libraries, or rendering logic. The visualization is limited to the code structure itself, not graphical output.

The example shows a PHP class definition for a Laravel service provider that registers a custom implementation of an interaction contract. It specifically binds the `UpdateContactInformation` interaction from the Laravel Spark package to a custom extension class located in the application's namespace. The code demonstrates how to override default Spark behavior by using the container's `singleton` method, which ensures a single shared instance of the custom class is used throughout the application. No data visualization or rendering libraries are involved.

This example shows a Vue component that extends a base Spark profile form to let users update their contact information, specifically a phone number field. The component mixes in the `spark-update-contact-information` base module and initializes its `form` object with a `phone` property, merging it with existing Spark form data. On mount, it populates the phone field from the current user object. The code uses Vue’s component and mixin APIs along with the SparkForm helper and jQuery’s `$.extend` to manage the form state.

This example demonstrates a form field for phone number input within a Blade template, using the Laravel framework and Vue.js. It shows how to bind the input value to a Vue model property (`form.phone`) and conditionally display a validation error message. The code uses Vue’s `v-model` directive for two-way data binding and the `v-show` directive to toggle the error message’s visibility based on the presence of a validation error via `form.errors.has('phone')` and `form.errors.get('phone')`. The interface is styled with Bootstrap classes for layout and error styling.

Entity

This example demonstrates a basic 2D game entity that moves and draws a texture. The `Entity` class holds a position and velocity, updating its location each frame based on elapsed time via `Update(GameTime)`. It renders itself in `Draw(SpriteBatch)` using a MonoGame/XNA `SpriteBatch` call. A read-only `HitBox` property computes a rectangle from the current position and texture dimensions. Code uses the `Texture2D` class for the sprite and `Vector2` for movement, with no external data source.

This visualization calculates the total watch time for all Laracast video lessons by parsing the duration text from the page. Using jQuery to select each `.Lesson-List__length` element, it splits the minutes and seconds from each duration string and accumulates them, converting excess seconds into minutes and minutes into hours. The script then formats the final sum into a zero-padded HH:MM:SS string and displays a message stating how many hours it will take to complete the series. The data comes directly from the Laracast website's lesson list, with no external server interaction.
