This stacked area chart visualizes global CO2 emissions over time, broken down by source: gas, liquids, solids, cement production, and gas flaring. Data is sourced from a CSV file and rendered as SVG. Label placement is automated using the d3-area-label library, while d3.stack and d3.area build the layers. A d3.scaleOrdinal with d3.schemeDark2 assigns colors, and the chart updates on window resize.
