Fork of Temperature in San Francisco Line Chart

This line chart displays one week of temperature data in San Francisco, with time on the x-axis and temperature in degrees Celsius on the y-axis. The visualization uses D3 v5’s `scaleTime`, `scaleLinear`, `axisBottom`, `axisLeft`, and `line` with `curveBasis` to generate a smooth curved path through the data points. The data comes from the Data Canvas - Sense Your City dataset and is loaded via `d3.csv`, with timestamps parsed as JavaScript `Date` objects. The chart includes labeled axes, gridlines, and a title, all rendered as SVG elements.

P0: Experiment Data

This example visualizes experimental trial data as a scatterplot, plotting accuracy against trial number. Each circle represents a single trial, with semi-transparent steelblue fills that highlight overlapping points. The visualization uses D3 v6 to load CSV data asynchronously and build an SVG chart with linear scales for both axes. It includes gridlines generated by axis tick marks, with axes customized to remove their domain lines. The code constructs scales via `d3.scaleLinear`, applies margins for the plot area, and renders axes using `d3.axisBottom` and `d3.axisLeft`.

Fork of HTML Starter

This example demonstrates a minimal HTML page that displays the text “Hello HTML” in the browser, rendered at a very large font size. It introduces the basic structure of an HTML document with embedded CSS for styling and JavaScript for interactivity. The script logs “Hello JavaScript!” to the browser’s console, showcasing the use of the `console.log` API. The page relies solely on standard web technologies without any external libraries or frameworks.
