This visualization presents data from a speed dating study, filtered to exclude participants from waves 6-9 and display attributes from three time periods. The code reads a CSV file from OpenML and uses d3.csv with a row converter function to transform the raw data. It then creates a fixed 400x400 SVG canvas using d3.select("body").append("svg"), though the visualization itself does not render any marks or shapes.

NYC High Schools

This visualization compares NYC high school graduation rates against attendance rates using a scatterplot, and it also includes a bar chart showing the number of students per school. The scatterplot uses `d3.scaleLinear` for both axes, with `d3.axisBottom` and `d3.axisLeft` for tick marks, and circles jittered slightly to reduce overplotting. Hovering over a circle highlights all schools in the same neighborhood. The bar chart uses `d3.scaleBand` for its y-axis and `d3.scaleLinear` for the x-axis. Data is loaded as CSV from NYC Open Data, and the visualization is rendered as SVG with D3 v7.
