This example uses Victory Charts within a React app to render a horizontal bar chart of population data for five U.S. cities, loaded from a CSV file via d3.csv and React’s useState and useEffect hooks. The chart maps the population values to the x-axis and country names to the y-axis, with domain padding and custom tick label styling. It demonstrates integrating D3 for data loading with Victory’s declarative chart components, running in a React 16 environment with Victory 32 and D3 v5.
