A streamgraph visualizes weekly commit activity across D3’s repositories, with each colored layer representing a package and its thickness showing smoothed commit counts over time. Layers are ordered by first-commit date, revealing the monolithic `d3` repository’s early dominance, the 2014 package explosion, and later concentrated work on `d3-delaunay`. Built with D3 v6, it uses `d3.stack` with wiggle offset, `stackOrderAppearance`, `d3.area` and `d3.areaLabel` for rendering, plus `array-blur` for smoothing.
