A vertical grid of thin horizontal and vertical lines appears only within a central circular area, with the lines outside the circle hidden by an inverted mask effect. The piece generates 100 horizontal SVG rectangles and 100 vertical SVG rectangles, using two complementary SVG masks to reveal the horizontal set inside the circle and the vertical set outside it. The viewport dimensions drive the layout, making the artwork respond to the browser window size. This reproduction uses the native SVG DOM API via `createElementNS` and `setAttribute`.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This piece reproduces a minimalist Sol LeWitt drawing, showing a grid of vertical and horizontal line segments through a circular central cutout. The artwork is rendered entirely with SVG elements created programmatically via the DOM API. The HTML creates two circular masks—one to hide a section of horizontal lines and another to hide vertical lines—revealing the overlapping grid structure.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This visualization reproduces a Sol LeWitt art piece using an SVG rendering approach. It displays a grid of horizontal and vertical lines that intersect within two circular masks, creating a nested geometric pattern centered on the screen. The code constructs SVG elements dynamically via the Document API, using `createElementNS` to build rectangles and circles. Two masks (`circle-mask` and `circle-mask-2`) control visibility: the first reveals horizontal stripes inside a 200-pixel-radius circle, while the second exposes vertical stripes in the surrounding area, producing a layered, minimalist composition.

Fork of Sol Lewitt Reproduction vertical

A vertical grid of thin black and white rectangles creates a striped pattern, with a circular mask revealing a central white circle against black. A second mask inverts the effect, producing a contrasting ring of horizontal and vertical lines. The piece is generated entirely with native SVG and JavaScript, using dynamically created `rect` elements and two circle-based masks to layer the visual composition. It is a reproduction of a Sol LeWitt art piece.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This visualization reproduces a Sol LeWitt art piece, showing a grid of horizontal and vertical black lines that intersect only within two circular regions. A circle at the center acts as a mask, revealing the line patterns where the two shapes overlap. The code uses the SVG API to create elements and defines two `mask` regions to selectively display the lines. The artwork is generated procedurally with JavaScript loops, drawing 100 horizontal and 100 vertical rectangles without any external data source.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This example reproduces a Sol LeWitt art piece using raw SVG and JavaScript, showing a grid of vertical lines confined to a circular region at the center of the screen. The code creates an SVG mask with a white rectangle and black circle, then applies that mask to a series of thin vertical rectangles spaced every 20 pixels across the viewport. The result is a minimalist geometric composition where the line grid is visible only inside the circular window, mimicking LeWitt’s systematic drawing style.

Fork of Sol LeWitt

This is a generative art reproduction of a Sol LeWitt piece, rendered as a full-window SVG. It displays a grid of horizontal and vertical black bars that are masked into two concentric circular regions. The work uses two SVG masks: the first reveals only the horizontal bars within a central circle, while the second inverts that circle to show vertical bars everywhere else. The code constructs all elements dynamically via the DOM API, without external libraries.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This example reproduces a Sol LeWitt art piece using only JavaScript and the SVG API. A central circular mask reveals a grid of horizontal black lines in the center of the viewport, while a second inverted mask allows vertical black lines to appear only outside the same circle, creating a striking contrast. The code dynamically creates all SVG elements—including masks, rectangles, and circles—based on the browser window dimensions, generating 100 horizontal and 100 vertical stripes that intersect in a pattern defined by the two masks.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This example reproduces a Sol LeWitt art piece using an SVG rendering approach. The visualization displays a grid of horizontal and vertical lines that are masked to create concentric circular patterns at the center of the viewport. The code dynamically generates 100 rectangular strips for each orientation, using inline SVG mask elements to clip the lines into the circular shapes. The piece runs entirely with native JavaScript DOM manipulation, creating the `svg`, `rect`, `mask`, and `circle` elements without external libraries.
