This tree visualization maps the hierarchical structure of world countries, grouping them by continent and subregion. The data, loaded from a JSON file, is rendered as an indented tree with connecting paths, where each node's font size decreases with depth. The visualization uses D3's `tree` layout, `hierarchy` for data structuring, and `linkHorizontal` for path generation, all rendered as SVG within a zoomable interface.

World Countries Tree

This interactive visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout. It loads country data from a JSON file and renders it as an SVG with D3’s `tree` and `hierarchy` functions, connecting nodes with `linkHorizontal` paths. Text labels scale in font size by depth, and the entire view can be panned and zoomed via D3’s `zoom` handler applied to a group element.

World Countries Tree

This visualization presents the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, displayed as a horizontal tree layout. The hierarchical data is loaded from a JSON file and rendered as an SVG using D3 v5’s `tree` layout, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` path generator. Node labels are positioned according to their depth, with font size decreasing at deeper levels, and the entire graphic supports pan and zoom via D3’s `zoom` behavior.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree diagram rendered as SVG. It uses a D3.js v5 tree layout to position nodes and links, with the `d3.hierarchy` and `d3.linkHorizontal` modules generating the tree paths. The data is loaded from `data.json`, and the visualization supports mouse-wheel zooming via d3's zoom transform, applying it to a group element. Text labels show country names with a font size that decreases with tree depth.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout rendered as SVG. The code uses D3 v5's `tree` layout and `linkHorizontal` path generator to position nodes and draw connecting links, with country names displayed as text labels sized by depth. Data comes from a JSON file containing a nested structure of world regions and countries, while zooming is implemented via D3's `zoom` behavior.

World countries tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, in a horizontal tree layout. It uses d3.tree and d3.hierarchy to compute the layout, d3.linkHorizontal for the curved connecting paths, and d3.zoom for panning and zooming. The data comes from a local JSON file, rendered as SVG text labels with size varying by depth.

World Countries Tree

This hierarchical tree visualization displays the structure of world countries, grouped by continent and subregion. Country names are rendered as text nodes, connected by horizontal link paths to reveal the geographic taxonomy. The visualization uses D3 v5’s `tree` layout, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` functions to position nodes and draw edges, with interactive zooming enabled via `d3.zoom`. Data comes from a JSON file containing the nested world regions, with text styling applied for readability.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. The layout uses a tree diagram with horizontal links connecting parent nodes to their children, and text labels sized inversely to depth. The implementation leverages d3.hierarchy, d3.tree, and d3.linkHorizontal to compute positions and draw SVG paths, while d3.zoom enables panning and scaling of the entire tree. Data comes from a JSON file containing the geographic classification of nations.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. It shows the structural relationships between geographical groupings, with each node labeled by name. The chart uses D3.js v5's `tree` layout and `hierarchy` functions to compute the graph, and `linkHorizontal` paths to draw the connecting lines. Data is loaded from a JSON file, and the visualization supports interactive zooming via a custom `zoom` event, with labels styled using the Playfair Display font.
