This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and then by subregion. The tree layout uses a horizontal orientation, with country names rendered as text nodes that decrease in font size with increasing depth. The code employs D3 v5 APIs including `tree`, `hierarchy`, `linkHorizontal`, and `zoom` to construct the SVG visualization, with data loaded from a JSON file containing the regional groupings.

World Countries Tree

This visualization presents the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion, displayed as a horizontal tree layout. The hierarchical data is loaded from a JSON file and rendered as an SVG using D3 v5’s `tree` layout, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` path generator. Node labels are positioned according to their depth, with font size decreasing at deeper levels, and the entire graphic supports pan and zoom via D3’s `zoom` behavior.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion using a horizontal tree layout. The code uses D3 v5’s `tree` layout and `hierarchy` function to compute node positions, with `linkHorizontal` generating curved paths for parent-child connections. Text labels are rendered with font sizes scaled by node depth, and a `zoom` interaction enables panning and scaling of the entire SVG canvas. The data comes from a local JSON file outlining geographic groupings.

World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. It maps the geographic hierarchy of nations into a horizontal icicle-style layout. The D3.js v5 code uses the `tree` layout, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` functions to position nodes and draw connecting paths. Text labels are rendered with variable font sizes based on depth, and the SVG supports pan and zoom through a `zoom` event. The data is loaded from a local JSON file containing the full country and regional structure.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout rendered as SVG. The code uses D3 v5's `tree` layout and `linkHorizontal` path generator to position nodes and draw connecting links, with country names displayed as text labels sized by depth. Data comes from a JSON file containing a nested structure of world regions and countries, while zooming is implemented via D3's `zoom` behavior.

World Countries Tree

This interactive visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout. It loads country data from a JSON file and renders it as an SVG with D3’s `tree` and `hierarchy` functions, connecting nodes with `linkHorizontal` paths. Text labels scale in font size by depth, and the entire view can be panned and zoomed via D3’s `zoom` handler applied to a group element.

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree layout. The code uses D3 v5’s `tree` and `hierarchy` functions to position nodes and `linkHorizontal` to draw connecting paths in SVG. Text labels display country names at varying font sizes based on depth, and the entire view supports zooming via d3.zoom. The data comes from a local JSON file listing regions and their member nations.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as an interactive tree diagram. The D3.js visualization (v5) uses the `tree` layout algorithm with `linkHorizontal` edges to render the hierarchy as an SVG, with node labels sized inversely to their depth in the tree. The code loads country data from a JSON file, applies a `hierarchy` transformation, and supports zooming and panning via the `zoom` event, which adjusts the transform of the SVG group containing the tree.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. The layout uses a tree diagram with horizontal links connecting parent nodes to their children, and text labels sized inversely to depth. The implementation leverages d3.hierarchy, d3.tree, and d3.linkHorizontal to compute positions and draw SVG paths, while d3.zoom enables panning and scaling of the entire tree. Data comes from a JSON file containing the geographic classification of nations.
