This fork of D3's tree diagram displays a hierarchical breakdown of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with all terminal nodes labeled in a serif font. The visualization is rendered as an SVG, with nodes positioned horizontally based on depth. The code uses D3 v5’s `tree` layout, `hierarchy` and `linkHorizontal` helpers to compute paths, and a `zoom` interaction that rescales the entire drawing on user input. Text size scales inversely with depth, and link paths are styled with a teal stroke.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. It uses a D3 tree layout with horizontal links to show the parent-child relationships between geographic groupings, from "World" down to individual nations. The text labels are sized according to depth, with shallower nodes appearing larger. The implementation uses D3 v5’s `tree`, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` functions to compute the layout and link paths, while a zoom behavior allows panning and scaling of the SVG rendering.

Fork of World Countries Tree

A hierarchical tree visualization displays countries organized by continent and subregion, with the world as the root. The layout positions nodes horizontally by depth, and text size decreases with each level. D3 v5’s `tree` layout, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` generate the SVG paths and labels, while a `zoom` behavior enables pan and scaling. The data comes from a JSON file, and text styling uses the Playfair Display font.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized from continents down to subregions and individual nations, using a horizontal dendrogram layout. Labels appear at each node, with font size decreasing by depth to emphasize higher-level groupings. The implementation uses D3 v5’s `d3.hierarchy`, `d3.tree`, and `d3.linkHorizontal` to compute the layout and draw SVG paths, while `d3.zoom` enables panning and zooming. Styling relies on a Playfair Display font and teal connection lines, with data loaded from a local JSON file.

Fork of Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization presents a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a branching layout that expands from left to right. The data is loaded from a JSON file, and the tree structure is rendered as SVG paths and text labels. The code uses D3 v5’s `tree()` layout, `hierarchy()`, and `linkHorizontal()` to compute the layout and draw the connecting links. Users can pan and zoom the entire diagram via the `zoom()` behavior, with text sizing decreasing at deeper levels to fit the hierarchy.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with country names displayed at varying font sizes based on their depth in the tree. It uses D3 v5 with the `d3.tree` layout and `d3.hierarchy` to compute the node positions, while `d3.linkHorizontal` generates the curved connecting paths. The SVG rendering supports zooming and panning through D3's `d3.zoom` behavior, and the data comes from a local `data.json` file containing the nested geographic structure.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree layout. It uses d3.tree and d3.hierarchy to compute the layout, and d3.linkHorizontal to draw the connecting paths. Node labels are positioned along the tree, with font size scaling by depth, and a d3.zoom behavior allows panning and zooming the SVG view. The rendering uses SVG elements styled with a green stroke and a Playfair Display font, with data loaded from a local JSON file.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout. The D3.js code employs `d3.tree` and `d3.hierarchy` to compute node positions, `d3.linkHorizontal` to draw curved connecting paths, and `d3.zoom` to enable pan and zoom interactions. Text labels for each country and region are rendered directly in SVG, with font sizes decreasing by depth level. Data comes from the included `data.json` file, which nests countries geographically.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization presents a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with each country labeled as a leaf node. The tree layout positions nodes horizontally, with links drawn as curved paths and text labels scaled by depth. Built with D3 v5, it uses `d3.tree`, `d3.hierarchy`, and `d3.linkHorizontal` to compute and render the layout, while a zoom behavior enables panning and scaling of the SVG canvas. The data is loaded from a JSON file, and the styling uses a serif font with orange link strokes.
