This interactive world map displays the hierarchical structure of countries organized by continent and subregion using a node-link tree diagram rendered as SVG. The visualization uses D3.js (v5) to parse the hierarchical JSON data and generate the tree layout, with horizontal link paths connecting parent and child nodes. Each country is labeled with its full name, and the tree branches out from the root "World" node through continents and regional groupings. The layout is computed using D3's tree and hierarchy modules, with custom styling applied via CSS for the connecting paths and label text.

World Countries Tree

This interactive world map displays the hierarchical structure of countries, organized by continent and subregion, as a horizontal tree diagram. The visualization uses `d3.hierarchy` to process the nested JSON structure and `d3.tree` to compute the layout based on the data's size and dimensions. A `d3.zoom` interaction is applied to the SVG container, allowing users to pan and scale the entire tree. The edges are rendered using the `d3.linkHorizontal` generator, while each node's label is positioned with a font size that inversely corresponds to its depth in the hierarchy, with the text styling set via CSS.

World Countries Tree

This interactive tree diagram visualizes the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. Using D3.js v5, the visualization employs a horizontal tree layout with SVG rendering. The code leverages D3's `tree`, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` APIs to compute the layout and generate connecting paths. User interaction is supported through D3's `zoom` event, which applies pan and zoom transformations to the entire group. Text labels display country names, with font size decreasing by depth level, while the data source is a JSON file containing the geographical hierarchy.

World Countries Tree

This visualization presents a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. It shows the parent-child relationships from the "World" root down to individual nations, with text labels positioned along the branches. The data comes from a JSON file containing the geographic hierarchy. The implementation uses D3 v5 with a custom tree layout and horizontal link generator to position nodes and draw connecting paths. Interactive zooming is enabled through D3's zoom utility, which applies a transform to the SVG group element. Text styling uses the Playfair Display font with a white shadow to improve legibility over the connecting paths.

World Countries Tree

This interactive visualization depicts the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a tree layout rendered as an SVG. The D3.js v5 library's `tree`, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` APIs generate the node-link diagram from a JSON data file. Text labels display each country's name, with font size varying by depth. A zooming capability, implemented via D3's `zoom` and `event` methods, allows users to pan and scale the view.

World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. The layout uses a tree diagram with horizontal links connecting parent nodes to their children, and text labels sized inversely to depth. The implementation leverages d3.hierarchy, d3.tree, and d3.linkHorizontal to compute positions and draw SVG paths, while d3.zoom enables panning and scaling of the entire tree. Data comes from a JSON file containing the geographic classification of nations.

World Countries Tree

This interactive visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries organized by continent and subregion using a tree layout. The D3.js v5 code loads geographic data from a JSON file and renders it as an SVG with horizontal links connecting parent and child nodes. Text labels show country names with font sizes that decrease at deeper hierarchy levels, while zoom functionality allows users to explore the full tree structure. The visualization uses the `tree` layout, `linkHorizontal` path generator, and D3's zoom behavior for panning and scaling.

World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and sub-region. The tree layout displays each country as a text label, with branching paths connecting nations to their regional groupings, using a zoomable interface for navigation. The code uses d3.hierarchy and d3.tree to compute the layout, d3.linkHorizontal for the connecting paths, and d3.zoom for panning and scaling. Data comes from a nested JSON file, and the SVG rendering highlights the structure with teal links and Playfair Display typography.

World Countries Tree

This interactive tree diagram displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with text labels rendered at varying sizes based on depth. The visualization uses the D3.js v5 `tree` layout with a `linkHorizontal` path generator for curved connections, and implements a `zoom` behavior for panning and scaling. Data loads from a static JSON file, and the SVG rendering applies custom font styling via CSS, including Quicksand and Playfair Display typefaces.
