This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and then by subregion. It shows the structure of geographic classification from the root "World" down to individual nations. The visualization is built with D3 v5, using the `tree` and `hierarchy` layout functions to compute positions, and `linkHorizontal` to draw connecting paths. Node labels are rendered as SVG text elements, with font size scaling based on depth in the hierarchy. The JSON data source contains the country groupings, and the view supports zooming via D3's `zoom` event handler.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with each node labeled by country name. The tree layout positions nodes vertically by depth, and horizontal links connect parent and child nodes. The visualization uses D3 v5’s `tree` layout, `hierarchy` function, and `linkHorizontal` generator to compute and draw the structure. Text labels scale in font size inversely with depth, and the entire tree can be panned and zoomed via D3’s `zoom` behavior. Data comes from a JSON file with nested country groupings.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, using a horizontal tree layout. The D3.js code employs `d3.tree` and `d3.hierarchy` to compute node positions, `d3.linkHorizontal` to draw curved connecting paths, and `d3.zoom` to enable pan and zoom interactions. Text labels for each country and region are rendered directly in SVG, with font sizes decreasing by depth level. Data comes from the included `data.json` file, which nests countries geographically.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This interactive visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries organized by continent and subregion, with each leaf node labeled by country name. The layout uses a horizontally-oriented tree structure where nodes are positioned based on depth and rendered as text elements with varying font sizes. Built with D3 v5, the visualization employs `d3.tree()` for layout computation, `d3.hierarchy()` for data structuring, and `d3.linkHorizontal()` for generating curved link paths between nodes. The SVG rendering includes zoom functionality via `d3.zoom()`, with data loaded from a JSON file containing the hierarchical country classification.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. The tree branches from a central root, showing the geographic groupings. The visualization uses the D3.js library with a vertical link layout to connect nodes. The SVG rendering applies a zooming feature and custom styling, with text labels sized based on the tree depth. The data is loaded from a JSON file and rendered using D3's hierarchy and tree layout functions.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries organized by continent and region, with a root node labeled "World" branching down to individual nations. The code uses D3 v5's `tree` layout and `hierarchy` function to compute node positions, then renders horizontal links via `linkHorizontal` and country names as SVG text with font sizes scaled inversely by depth. The visualization reads from a data.json file and supports interactive panning and zooming through D3's `zoom` behavior, with a zoom group applied to the entire SVG canvas.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows the hierarchical structure of world countries, organized by continent and subregion, with all branches originating from a single "World" root node. The tree layout uses vertical curved links to connect parent and child nodes, with country names displayed at varying font sizes based on their depth in the hierarchy. Built with D3 v5, the code employs `d3.tree()`, `d3.hierarchy()`, and `d3.linkVertical()` to compute and render the layout, while `d3.zoom()` enables interactive panning and scaling of the SVG graphic. The data comes from a local JSON file containing the nested geographic classification.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization displays a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized by continent and subregion. It uses a D3 tree layout with horizontal links to show the parent-child relationships between geographic groupings, from "World" down to individual nations. The text labels are sized according to depth, with shallower nodes appearing larger. The implementation uses D3 v5’s `tree`, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` functions to compute the layout and link paths, while a zoom behavior allows panning and scaling of the SVG rendering.

Fork of World Countries Tree

This visualization shows a hierarchical tree of world countries, organized from continents down to subregions and individual nations, using a horizontal dendrogram layout. Labels appear at each node, with font size decreasing by depth to emphasize higher-level groupings. The implementation uses D3 v5’s `d3.hierarchy`, `d3.tree`, and `d3.linkHorizontal` to compute the layout and draw SVG paths, while `d3.zoom` enables panning and zooming. Styling relies on a Playfair Display font and teal connection lines, with data loaded from a local JSON file.
