A sunburst chart visualizes the sequential career paths of male and female participants after high school, with each arc representing a transition between Military, School, Work, or NA categories. A dropdown menu switches between two JSON datasets, and hovering over a segment highlights its ancestor chain while displaying the percentage and raw count of participants following that exact path. The visualization uses d3.partition and d3.arc for the sunburst layout, with breadcrumb trails and mouseover transitions for interactive exploration.
