Fork of RADIAL TREE 2
This radial tree visualization displays the hierarchical structure of the Flare dataset, with each node positioned along concentric rings radiating from the center. The data originates from a CSV file containing id and value fields, where leaf nodes are sized by their numeric values and categories branch outward. Built with D3 v4 and rendered as SVG, the visualization supports panning and zooming for interactive exploration of the hierarchy. The layout uses curved links and circular node placement to depict parent-child relationships, with the root node at the center. Text labels are dynamically hidden or shown based on zoom level to reduce visual clutter. The chart is a direct adaptation of Curran Kelleher’s World Countries Hierarchy block, demonstrating hierarchical data representation through a radial tree layout.
