Fork of Smiley Face Part III

This example shows a smiley face rendered as a static SVG graphic, built using React components and D3’s `arc` generator for the mouth. A yellow circle with a thick black stroke forms the head, while two smaller circles serve as eyes. The D3 `arc()` API defines the mouth’s inner and outer radii and angular range, producing a half-circle path. React renders the SVG elements declaratively, with the `BackgroundCircle` component encapsulating the face’s base shape. All coordinates are computed relative to the SVG’s center, and the layout uses fixed pixel dimensions (960 by 500). No interaction or animation is present.

Fork of Let's Make a Face Part I

A yellow circle fills the center of an SVG canvas, rendered with React and ReactDOM, with a black outline created by the `stroke` and `stroke-width` attributes. The circle’s radius is set relative to the canvas height, and its position is fixed at the center. The `index.html` file loads the React libraries from unpkg and renders the component into a root div, with commented-out placeholder circles for additional facial features.
