Fork of D3.js collapsible tree with boxes
This example visualizes a hierarchical tree structure using collapsible nodes rendered as colored boxes. Users can click nodes to expand or collapse branches, with smooth animated transitions and tooltips displaying additional metadata. The visualization is built with D3.js v3 and jQuery, using SVG for rendering and D3’s layout, zoom, and drag behaviors. Data comes from a JSON file containing nested nodes with properties like type, version, and link direction, where depth-based coloring distinguishes hierarchy levels.
