my vacc

This visualization displays COVID-19 vaccination rates across Malaysian states, ranking each state by daily first-dose administration with horizontal bars. The bar chart uses D3 v6’s scaleLinear and scaleBand for axes, with d3.csv loading data from a vaccination.csv file. SVG rectangles render the values, and a transition with a 1000ms duration animates the bars. The chart includes formatted x-axis ticks using d3.format, custom titles, and axis labels.

fruits

This example demonstrates a dynamic fruit bowl visualization using D3 version 6. It shows circles representing apples and lemons, with colors and radii mapped by fruit type via `d3.scaleOrdinal`. The animation uses D3's selection API and the `.transition()` method to smoothly update positions and sizes over time. Fruits are initially added, then removed, type-changed, and filtered through timed `setTimeout` events, while `selectAll` and `.merge()` manage the enter, update, and exit states of the SVG circles.

Fork of D3 Starter

This example demonstrates a basic D3.js starter template combining an animated arc shape with a simple text report. The visualization displays a red-background SVG canvas with a semicircular arc that transitions vertically using D3's `.transition()` method over two sequential 2-second animations. Concurrently, an asynchronous data-loading routine (`getCars()`) retrieves a hardcoded JSON array of car objects after a 2-second delay, then generates a plain-text report filtered by year using `generateReport()`, and displays the result in an HTML `<pre>` element. The code leverages D3 v7's `select`, `arc`, and animation APIs, with all car data defined locally in the source files.

Fork of HTML Starter

This example shows a minimal HTML page that combines CSS, JavaScript, and D3 v7. It displays the text “Hello HTML” in large centered type and renders a red SVG square via d3.select and style. The code uses the D3 v7 library from a CDN and logs “Hello JavaScript!” to the browser console. It demonstrates the basic structure of an HTML starter with inline styles and SVG manipulation.
