Fork of D3 v5 Zoomable Sunburst
This zoomable sunburst visualizes the hierarchical structure of the Flare dataset, with each arc segment representing a node and its size proportional to the node’s value. Clicking a parent arc zooms in, animating the layout so descendants fill the view, while a central circle returns to the root. Built with D3 v5, it uses `d3.hierarchy`, `d3.partition`, and `d3.arc` to compute and render the radial layout, and `transition.attrTween` with `d3.interpolate` to smoothly animate arc positions and labels. The SVG is styled with a rainbow color scale and hover tooltips show ancestor paths.
