Fork of D3 Scatter Plot

This example presents a scatter plot of the classic Iris dataset, mapping petal length against sepal length for individual flowers. The visualization uses circles of a fixed radius to represent data points, with axes positioned along the bottom and left edges of the SVG canvas. Using d3.csv, the code loads data from a remote gist, parses numeric columns, and applies d3.scaleLinear with d3.extent to compute the domain for each axis. The visualization is rendered using the d3.select and join operations to create SVG circle elements, with d3.axisLeft and d3.axisBottom generating the chart's coordinate frames.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This is a generative art piece that recreates a Sol LeWitt wall drawing as a grid of horizontal and vertical striped bands. The artwork is composed of 100 horizontal rectangles and 100 vertical rectangles, where a circular mask is applied to each set—a white circle on a black background for the horizontal lines, and a black circle on white for the vertical lines. Using raw JavaScript and SVG DOM manipulation via `document.createElementNS`, the code constructs the full-screen canvas dynamically. The work directly references LeWitt’s geometric style, using algorithmic repetition to explore how overlapping line orientations interact within a circular boundary.

Fork of Sol LeWitt Reproduction Mask Inverse

This example renders a grid of alternating horizontal and vertical stripes across the full viewport, masked so that only a circular region in the center reveals the pattern while the rest stays black. It uses the SVG `mask` element and `circle` to define the visible area, dynamically creating `rect` elements with JavaScript to draw the stripes. The viewport dimensions are taken from `window.innerWidth` and `window.innerHeight`, and all drawing is done via the SVG namespace API.
