Fork of Customizing Axes
This bar chart displays the population of the top 10 most populous countries, based on 2018 estimates from the United Nations World Population Prospects 2017. It uses d3.scaleLinear and d3.scaleBand to map population values and country names, with custom axes via d3.axisLeft and d3.axisBottom, including formatted tick labels and grid lines. The data is loaded from a CSV file using d3.csv, and the chart is rendered as an SVG with steelblue rectangles.
