making a bar chart
This example demonstrates how to construct a bar chart using D3.js v5, displaying expense categories from a CSV file with their corresponding amounts. The visualization initializes an SVG canvas sized via attributes and loads data asynchronously with the `csv` function. Currently, the data is merely logged to the console, while the chart container fills the page using CSS positioning. The code sets up the foundational structure for binding data to visual elements, though no bars are rendered yet.
