Cars Scatter Plot

This scatter plot visualizes the relationship between horsepower and weight for cars from the UCI Machine Learning Repository’s Auto MPG dataset. Red semi-transparent circles mark each car, with axes labeled and a title displayed. Built with D3.js v5, the code uses `d3.csv` for data loading, `d3.scaleLinear` for scaling, and `d3.axisLeft` and `d3.axisBottom` for axes. SVG rendering is used, with margins and tick formatting handled explicitly.

Cars Scatter Plot

This scatter plot visualizes the relationship between horsepower and weight for cars from the UCI Machine Learning Repository’s Auto MPG dataset. Red semi-transparent circles represent individual vehicles, with axes labeled and scaled using d3.scaleLinear and d3.extent. The SVG rendering leverages d3.csv to load data, d3.axisBottom and d3.axisLeft for gridlines and ticks, and custom text elements for titles and axis labels. The code demonstrates basic data parsing and margin-based layout with d3.v5.
