Fork of D3 Starter

This example demonstrates the minimal setup required to begin using D3 version 7 in a web page. It renders the text “Hello D3 version 7” in the center of the viewport using a 13-em font size. The page loads D3 from a CDN and uses the `select` API to target the body element, then applies the text content. The code includes an embedded video tutorial explaining how to start with D3 version 6, highlighting the transition between versions.

Starter page

This starter page demonstrates a minimal HTML page combining CSS and JavaScript with inline SVG rendering for basic shapes. The page displays a red circle, a blue-outlined yellow rectangle, and a square path with red corner points, all positioned within a 500x500 SVG viewport. The code uses plain HTML elements such as `<circle>`, `<rect>`, and `<path>`, styled with simple CSS for text formatting, and requires no external libraries. It serves as a bare-bones template for beginners exploring SVG graphics and web page structure.
