5 Buddhas
5 Buddhas presents a hypnotic, data-free SVG composition built with React, where overlapping triangles are generated and rendered through nested mappings of a numeric array. Each polygon is positioned and rotated using randomized coordinates derived from the loop variable, creating a dense, chaotic mosaic in black space. The form is defined by repeated triangles with randomized positions, rotations, colors, and opacity, overlaid with a single large path of a seated Buddha in vibrant colors. The contrast between the abstract, machine-generated triangles and the recognizable Buddhist figure creates a striking visual tension, emphasizing the interplay between chaos and order, randomness and structure, in the digital meditation on form. The piece draws attention to the generative and algorithmic nature of art while nodding to traditional iconography.
