Fork of the number of the tweets per day

This line chart shows the number of tweets per day from December 2019 to January 2021, with each point marked by a circle and connected by a monotone curve. The visualization uses D3 v4 with an SVG rendering, employing `d3.scaleTime` for the x-axis, `d3.scaleLinear` for the y-axis, and `d3.line` with `d3.curveMonotoneY` for the path. Data is loaded from a CSV file, and the chart updates responsively on window resize.

Fork of Lab 1: Line Chart

This interactive D3.js line chart visualizes annual CO2 emissions for selected countries from 1990 to 2014, sourced from UN Data. The visualization uses a multi-line chart with an ordinal color scale and includes axes with formatted tick labels. Built with D3 4.7.4, the code uses `d3.select`, `d3.nest()`, `d3.scaleOrdinal`, `d3.scaleLinear`, and `d3.axisBottom`/`d3.axisLeft` to render SVG elements. The chart allows data filtering by adjusting the `selectedCountries` array, demonstrating animated transitions between different country selections.

loading and parsing CSV Data

This example demonstrates loading and parsing CSV data in a web page, logging the raw text output to the browser’s developer console. It fetches a remote CSV file containing CSS named colors from a GitHub gist using the Fetch API, with an asynchronous `fetchText` helper that retrieves the response as plain text. The page uses vanilla JavaScript within an HTML structure, styled minimally with CSS, and relies on the browser’s native `fetch` and `response.text()` methods. No visualization is rendered; the focus is purely on data acquisition and inspection.
