Fork of Cars Scatter Plot

This scatter plot visualizes the relationship between horsepower and weight for a sample of cars, sourced from the UCI Machine Learning Repository’s Auto MPG dataset. The code uses D3 v5 to create an SVG-based chart, employing `scaleLinear`, `axisBottom`, and `axisLeft` for axes and scales. Data is loaded via the `csv` function and rendered as red, semi-transparent circles, with axis labels and a title styled using CSS.

Fork of Stylized Bar Chart

This horizontal bar chart displays the top 10 most populous countries for 2020, using data from the UN World Population Prospects 2019. The chart visualizes population values with horizontal bars, ordered from largest to smallest, and includes axis labels and tick marks. Built with React and D3 v5, the visualization uses `scaleBand` for the categorical y-axis, `scaleLinear` for the quantitative x-axis, and renders SVG rect elements with tooltips via the `title` element.

Let's make a face with D3.js

This example demonstrates how to construct a simple face using basic SVG shapes in D3.js. It appends a single large circle to an SVG element, setting its radius to 400 pixels. The code imports the `select` function from D3 and uses it to target the existing SVG container. The visualization relies on D3 v6 and is rendered as static SVG markup within a React framework, with styling handled by an external CSS file.

Fork of HTML Starter

This example demonstrates a minimal web page that displays the text "Hello HTML" centered in the browser window at a very large font size. It shows how a basic HTML document can combine CSS for styling and JavaScript for console output, with the page rendered using standard HTML elements and inline CSS. The JavaScript code uses the `console.log` API to print "Hello JavaScript!" to the browser's developer tools, illustrating the integration of client-side scripting.
