data
This example visualizes COVID-19 case data from a CSV file, showing the raw `total_cases` per location as vertical bars. The bars are rendered as `rect` elements appended to a `#canvas` div, with their heights set directly from the dataset values. The code uses d3.csv to parse the data and d3.select to bind it, though the bars are all positioned at the same coordinates, causing them to overlap into a single tall block. The visualization provides no axes, labels, or time-based differentiation, presenting only the cumulative case counts as a static, unprocessed bar chart.
