Hello VizHub

This example displays a horizontal dot plot of population estimates for ten countries, drawn as circles positioned along a linear scale. It uses D3 v5 with SVG rendering, loading data from a CSV file and applying `scaleLinear` for the x-axis and `scaleBand` for the y-axis. The code imports `csv`, `scaleLinear`, `scaleBand`, `axisLeft`, and `axisBottom` from D3 to generate axes and bind data to circle elements. A custom ES6 module, `myMessage.js`, is included but unused in the visualization.

Hello VizHub

This example presents a horizontal bar chart of the populations of the ten most populous countries, using data from a local CSV file. The chart renders as an SVG, with countries listed on the y-axis and population counts on the x-axis. The code employs D3.js v5 functions such as `d3.csv`, `scaleLinear`, `scaleBand`, `axisLeft`, and `axisBottom`. A dark blue background and white bars contrast starkly, while the data is loaded asynchronously and converted to numeric values before being mapped to bar widths.

Hello VizHub

This example displays a horizontal bar chart of population data for ten countries, using bar length to represent each nation’s population. The chart is rendered as SVG rectangles, with each bar’s width mapped directly from the numeric population values in the linked CSV file. The visualization is built with D3.js version 5, using the `select` and `csv` functions to load the data and append the rectangles, set against a dark blue background with white bars.
