This example presents a thank-you message and status update for a food donation, displaying a red heart icon and text indicating the package will be picked up in 1.5 hours. The code relies on HTML and CSS for layout, styling, and positioning elements, including a background image and a speech-bubble-style message. It also uses JavaScript to dynamically create an image element and append it to the page, though the image loading and placement are not fully integrated into the visible layout.

Food Categorizer

This interactive form categorizes food donations by having users select a food item and enter quantity, donor details, and expiration time. The interface loads food data from `food.csv` using `d3.csv` and presents a styled HTML form with a green background and orange submit button. Upon submission, the `submit` event listener prevents default page navigation and processes the selected food value from the dropdown menu. The visualization relies on D3 v5 for data loading and vanilla JavaScript for DOM manipulation, with CSS providing the visual styling for the form elements and message display area.
