Fork of XYZ Foods Stock Price

A bar chart visualizes XYZ Foods stock price from 2011 to 2016 and projected capital through 2044, with values drawn programmatically from a `FinancialPlan` class rather than static CSV data. The chart uses SVG rectangles with `d3.scaleBand` and `d3.scaleLinear` for axes, and includes animated transitions on load via `transition().ease(d3.easeLinear)`. Hovering highlights a bar in orange via mouseover handlers, expands its dimensions, and displays a dollar-value label; mouseout reverts the bar and removes the text.

Fork of Hello VizHub

This example demonstrates a minimal visualization that displays a static text message, "Hello VizHub!", centered on the page using a large font. It shows how to set up a basic VizHub project by loading D3 via UNPKG, importing D3 in the main JavaScript file, and separating code into local ES6 modules. The page structure is defined in HTML with a `<pre>` element, while the message is exported from a separate module and injected into the DOM. Styling is handled through a simple CSS rule that centers the text and sets its font size.

Fork of HTML Starter

A static HTML page titled "Fork of HTML Starter" displays the text "Hello HTML" in large centered type using inline CSS. The code also includes a JavaScript console.log statement that outputs "Hello JavaScript!" to the browser's developer tools. This minimal example demonstrates basic HTML structure, CSS styling, and JavaScript execution without any external libraries or data sources. It serves as a foundational template for HTML-based visualization projects.

Fork of Hello VizHub

This example demonstrates how to compose a simple D3 visualization using modular ES6 imports. It loads a static message into a page via D3’s `select` function, while the text content comes from a local module. The code relies on D3 v5 loaded from UNPKG, and shows both importing from the global D3 library and from a custom JavaScript file, with styling provided by an external CSS stylesheet.

Fork of HTML Starter

This example demonstrates a minimal web page that displays the text “Hello sam” in the center of the browser window, with the font size dramatically scaled to 13em. The page is built using plain HTML and CSS, with a small embedded JavaScript snippet that logs “Hello JavaScript!” to the developer console. It serves as a basic starter template for understanding how the three core web technologies—HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—interact, without relying on any external libraries or frameworks.
