This example demonstrates a simple smiling face rendered as an SVG using React and D3.js. The face is centered within a 960-by-480 viewport, with yellow circular head, two black eyes, and a curved smile generated by D3's `d3.arc()` path constructor. React's `createRoot` function mounts the component, while D3 v7 supplies the arc geometry; styling comes from CSS classes applied to SVG elements. The visualization uses no external data, instead hardcoding coordinates and dimensions.
