Testing D3 V 3.2

A scatterplot displays FIFA player attributes such as age, overall rating, and wage from a CSV dataset. The visualization uses D3 v5 with an SVG rendering approach. It employs `d3.csv` to load the data and `d3.scaleLinear` for axes, with `d3.axisBottom` and `d3.axisLeft` to render the scales. Circles positioned via `d3.forceSimulation` show player distribution, though the layout appears partially constrained.

Making a Bar Chart

This bar chart displays the top 10 most populous countries, using 2018 population estimates from the United Nations World Population Prospects. The visualization uses D3 v5 with SVG rendering, employing `scaleLinear` for the population axis and `scaleBand` for country categories. The axes are customized with `axisLeft` and `axisBottom`, including a tick format that converts large numbers to abbreviated units. The chart also includes axis labels and a title, with data loaded from a CSV file.

Barchart-d3

A bar chart displays the ages of Premier League footballers from a CSV file, with a dropdown menu to switch between goals and age attributes. The visualization uses D3 v5's `scaleBand` and `scaleLinear` to position bars, `axisLeft` and `axisBottom` for axes, and SVG rectangles. Hovering triggers a fill change to orange, a thick stroke, and a temporary text label showing the numeric value, with transitions animating the mouseout state. The data source is `data.csv` with player statistics.

feat1_dropdown_dependent_barchart

This visualization displays a bar chart of block-level height and weight percentages, with a dropdown menu to switch between the two metrics. The chart sorts data and animates bar transitions, updating the y-axis and value labels accordingly. It uses D3.js for SVG rendering and animations, with a color scale based on the selected metric. The chart also includes interactive tooltips showing block names and values on hover. Data is loaded from a CSV file containing eight regional blocks.
