Sol LeWitt Reproduction

A minimalist web reproduction of Sol LeWitt’s geometric wall drawings, rendered as layered horizontal and vertical stripes in SVG. A circular mask isolates the intersection of the two sets of lines, creating a focal point against a full-screen canvas. The code constructs SVG elements programmatically via the DOM API, using two masks (`circle-mask` and `circle-mask-2`) and nested rects to alternate visible segments. It employs no external libraries, relying purely on native browser methods like `createElementNS` and `setAttribute` to draw 100 stripes in each direction.

Sol LeWitt Reproduction

This reproduction of a Sol LeWitt artwork displays a set of geometric SVG primitives, including circles, lines, and text, arranged in a minimalist composition. The piece shows how basic shapes with varied fills, strokes, and positions can evoke the artist's conceptual style. The rendering uses raw SVG elements within an HTML document, specifying coordinates, colors, and stroke widths directly in the markup. No external libraries are used, relying instead on the native SVG API to create the drawing.

SVG Funndamentals

This example demonstrates basic SVG shapes by drawing circles, lines, and text directly in an HTML document. It shows how to set fill and stroke properties, including a hollow circle with a thick green outline and a circle with no fill. The rendering relies on the SVG API embedded in the page’s markup, using elements like `<circle>`, `<line>`, and `<text>`. The shapes are hardcoded with static coordinates and colors, receiving no data input or interactivity.
