RDW-data

This example visualizes Dutch vehicle registration data (RDW) in an SVG canvas. It uses D3 v6 to select the SVG element and read its dimensions. The visualization renders data points using D3's selection and manipulation methods, with the SVG set to 960 by 500 pixels. The code imports the `select` function from D3 and utilizes the `d3.select` API to bind data to SVG elements. The rendering approach relies on standard SVG shapes positioned based on the dataset’s attributes.

RDW-data

This example renders a stylized smiling face using SVG shapes, with a yellow circular head, two eyes, and a curved mouth. The code builds the face by layering circles, rectangles, and an arc path within a single SVG canvas, positioning them relative to the center. It uses D3 v6’s selection and arc generator for the mouth, while the right eyebrow animates via chained transition calls, shifting its vertical position twice over 1.5-second durations. The visualization is static except for this single automated eyebrow movement, with no user interaction or data input.
