Fork of HTML Starter

This example shows a minimal SVG scene with an empty canvas, serving as a starting point for D3.js projects. The code imports D3 v6 via a CDN and selects the `svg` element using `d3.select` in a plain HTML page. CSS resets the body margin and hides overflow. It demonstrates the fundamental structure for rendering with SVG and D3, without any data or visual elements.

Scatter Plot

This scatter plot displays the relationship between vehicle model year and fuel efficiency (MPG), with each circle representing a car. The visualization uses D3 v5 to load data from a CSV via `d3.csv`, then applies linear scales (`scaleLinear`) and axes (`axisBottom`, `axisLeft`) to map the values. Gridlines are rendered through tick sizing, and the SVG circles are positioned using the scaled coordinates. The chart includes labeled axes and a centered title, with styling applied via CSS.
