Shapes and Colors with SVG and CSS

This example demonstrates how SVG shapes and CSS styling can create a visual composition of geometric forms. The page renders an empty SVG canvas that fills the viewport, with CSS classes defining stroke properties for line elements. The `.lines` class applies black strokes with a width of 10 pixels, while `.lines path` elements receive a teal color, rounded line joins, and rounded line caps. The code uses raw SVG markup with linked CSS stylesheets, showing how presentation attributes can be controlled entirely through stylesheet rules rather than inline SVG attributes.

Shapes and Colors with SVG and CSS

This example demonstrates how SVG shapes can be styled using CSS, with a blank 960×500 canvas ready for D3.js v5 rendering. The page loads the D3 library and logs it to the console, confirming its availability, while the stylesheet resets the body margin to create a full-bleed display. Although no data or shapes are yet drawn, the setup illustrates the foundational integration of D3 with SVG elements and external CSS for visual customization.

Shapes and Colors with SVG and CSS

This example demonstrates the use of SVG and CSS to create a simple, blank canvas with a 960×500 pixel viewport. The page loads D3 v5 and logs the library to the console, showing how a minimal setup integrates D3 with custom styling. The HTML embeds an empty SVG element, while the linked stylesheet removes default margins and hides overflow on the body. The code relies on the `d3` global object and standard SVG elements, with no data or visual shapes generated yet.
