Area Chart

This area chart visualizes the distribution of species counts from a dataset loaded via `d3.csv`. The chart aggregates the raw data using `d3.rollup` to count entries per species, then renders a single filled area using the `d3.area` generator, with scales defined by `scaleBand` and `scaleLinear`. Axis ticks are drawn with `d3.axisBottom` and `d3.axisLeft`, and each species count is labeled directly above its point on the area via `svg.append('text')`. The visualization is produced in SVG within a dedicated `<div>` container.

Pie Chart

This pie chart visualizes the distribution of species counts from a CSV dataset. It uses D3.js (v6) with an SVG rendering approach, employing `d3.csv` for data loading, `d3.rollup` for aggregation, and `d3.pie` with `d3.arc` to draw the slices. The chart displays percentage labels for each species, colored via `d3.scaleOrdinal` with the `d3.schemeCategory10` palette.
