Choropleth Map

This choropleth map colors each country by its economy category using a spectral color scale, with hover highlighting and a legend showing category colors. The visualization renders geographic data as SVG paths via d3.geoPath with a geoNaturalEarth1 projection, while d3.zoom enables pan and zoom interactions. Country names and economy values appear as tooltips on hover, sourced from world-atlas TopoJSON and TSV data combined in loadAndProcessData. The color legend, built with d3.scaleOrdinal, reduces clutter through a semi-transparent background behind its circles and labels.

Fork of Hello VizHub

This example demonstrates how to use D3.js to filter and display data from a static array of car objects. The code imports car specifications from a local module, applies a filter to select vehicles priced over $2,000, and formats each entry as a text line showing the car name and price. Using the `select` API from D3 v5, the resulting report is rendered directly into an HTML `<pre>` element, combining data processing with DOM manipulation.

Cars Report

This example demonstrates a minimal data-reporting interface for a classic automobile dataset. It displays a static collection of car specifications in a simple HTML page. The implementation shows how to load D3 via UNPKG and use ES6 module `import` statements to bring in local data from a `cars.js` file. The page renders text content directly into the DOM using standard JavaScript, with styling applied through an external CSS file. The visualization highlights basic module loading and data organization rather than complex charting or interactive features.
