Loading and Parsing CSV Data
This example demonstrates the first step of handling external data in a web application: fetching raw CSV content and printing it to the browser console. The program defines an asynchronous helper function, `fetchText`, which uses the standard `fetch` API to retrieve a text file from a remote URL and return its contents as a string. It then calls this function on a CSV file containing CSS named colors, hosted as a GitHub gist, and logs the resulting text. The visualization shows only the raw, unparsed data output, with no formatting or chart rendered.
