Fork of World Population Area Chart
This visualization shows global population trends over time using a filled area chart. The SVG displays a maroon curve representing population values across years, with labeled axes for time and population. The code uses D3.js v7 functions including `csv` for data loading, `scaleTime`, `scaleLinear`, `area`, `curveBasis`, and `axisBottom`/`axisLeft` to construct the chart. Population values are formatted using `format` to display billions, and data comes from a VizHub-hosted CSV dataset of world population by year.
