This tree visualization shows the hierarchical structure of electronic health records data, branching into categories like volume and regional groupings from South-Eastern to Western Asia. A radial icicle chart lays out the nodes from left to right, with colored paths linking parent and child nodes. The visualization uses d3.js’s `tree`, `hierarchy`, and `linkHorizontal` functions to compute the layout and draw connecting lines, while text labels with a serif font display each node’s identifier from the loaded JSON data.

World Countries Tree

This chart presents the hierarchical relationship of world countries organized by continent and subregion, using a tree layout. The visualization shows the structure from the root "World" node down through continents like Asia and its subdivisions, ultimately listing individual countries. Built with D3 v5, the code uses `d3.tree`, `d3.hierarchy`, and `d3.linkHorizontal` to compute node positions and draw connecting paths. Text labels display each country name, with font size decreasing at deeper levels. The interactive SVG supports zooming via the `d3.zoom` event handler.
