Fork of Loading and Parsing CSV Data
This example shows the result of loading and parsing CSV data using D3 v5. It displays a summary of a remote CSV file containing language-related data, reporting the file size in kilobytes, the number of rows, and the number of columns in large text. The visualization relies on the `d3.csv` method to fetch and parse the data asynchronously, then calls `d3.csvFormat` to measure the dataset’s size. A commented alternative demonstrates using the Fetch API with `async`/`await` and `d3.csvParse` for the same task. The data originates from a GitHub-hosted CSV file.
